Orion Girls Softball League
The OGSL consists of three divisions based on the age groups below.  All girls must be of age on or before January 1.  Lake Orion residency is not a requirement so girls from neighboring communities are welcome.  Clinic ages 5-8; Coach Pitch. Intermediate ages 9-11; Machine & Fast Pitch. Junior ages 12-14; Fast Pitch. Walk in registration will take place Saturday, February 11 from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm. Practices will begin the week of April 10. The season will end at the Tournament on June 24.

Youth Golf Lessons

Lessons with Mulberry Hills will introduce proper grip, stance and posture, basic putting and chipping and examine the fundamentals of the full swing. Students will be approached as if they have little or no experience. Group lessons are designed to create a comfortable and affordable instructional environment for the new or intermediate golfer. Each group session meets once a week for five weeks at a specified time.

Junior Golf League

The Mulberry Hills Junior Golf League is designed for both boys and girls, with some prior playing experience and a firm understanding of the game. All participants will play nine holes each week on a semi-competitive basis. All scores and handicaps will be calculated to maintain a level playing field. The league includes on-course supervision, a hot dog & pop, games, contests, awards and prizes each week.

Adaptive Softball
Orion Township Community Programs in cooperation with Northwest Parks and Recreation Association are offering a TR softball league fro persons between the age of 13-25 years with developmental disabilities, with or without physical impairments. All ability levels are encourages and welcome to participate. All practices and home games will be played at Civic Center Park Field #2, away games are played in neighboring communities. Come on out and join the fun! Go Hawks! Late registration is accepted. New home field is Civic Center Park Field #2.

Sporties for Shorties

A parent and child t-ball readiness program that introduces youth to baseball skills without competition or fear of getting hurt. Participants will learn the basic skills: throwing, catching, batting and running bases in a supportive environment. Parents work with their child in a supportive environment to instruct their child in the skills of throwing, catching and batting. Program also focuses on the development of your child's basic motor skills. Program includes t-shirt. Non-competitive scrimmages will be included. Participants are encourages to bring a glove. The week following the final class date is reserved as a rain date if needed.

Kiddie Kicker Soccer- OOSL

Youth soccer is a great way to encourage an active lifestyle while enhancing your child's social and physical development. This program offers a fun and safe atmosphere for learning the basics of soccer, and incorporates fun activities and non-competitive scrimmages that promote sportsmanship and teamwork. The coaching staff for this instruction based program is provided by the Orion Oxford Soccer League (OOSL). Participants are encouraged to bring a size 3 soccer ball. Soccer balls are available for purchase at the time of registration for $10 (limit 1 per registered participant). Rain date is October 4, if necessary.

Registration for the August session begins JUNE 1.
